The Win-Win-Win Cycle of Awesome

I’ve become a little bit obsessed lately with content marketing. It’s kind of a win-win-win cycle of awesome for everybody. People search for something, they find your site and get the answer they’re looking for, Google send more traffic your way, you give people more useful information and so it continues.

Long Tail Keywords: The New Plan

I’ve gotten deep into the world of using keyword research tools and then writing long (for me!) blog posts which are optimized for search engines. See this post where I talk about how Facebook netizens are fickle and that my new plan is to focus on traffic from search engines by using long tail keywords. Time to Take it to the Next Level

However, it’s now time to take it to the next level. The other day, I ran across this very useful graphic about how to create the perfect blog post. It breaks it down in a way that is very easy to understand and also backs up each point with cold hard data. I love it. Now, it’s time to implement it and start writing these kinds of posts on my blogs and see what the results are. Interesting times ahead and I’ll be sure to report back with some results.
